Project: ATK-MAJIC

Note: This is not an Operation Right to Know operation! This is the
opinion of Ed Komarek only, and there may be errors of fact in this
article and if errors are detected I would appreciate being corrected. I
have not knowingly presented any erroneous or misleading material in
this article. Individuals participating in this operation need to have
some background in the UFO field and basic intelligence techniques. I
would suggest reading Above Secret, The UFO Cover-up, The Truth about
the UFO Crash at Roswell, Flying Saucers: Top Secret, Flying Saucers
Serious Business and the novel Majestic that is based on the life of a
close relative of Whitley Strieber, who was close to the MAJIC
organization.

The purpose of this project is to provide a basic idea and focus to
individuals and groups who wish to join the hunt for the last remaining
cold war secret organization. Anybody is free to copy and distribute
this article and to post it on the computer networks. My address is 2104

The premise this project is based upon is that there is a massive,
chameleon UFO organization buried and camouflaged within the National
Security apparatus of the United States. As the cold war thawed, hidden
organizations like the NSA and the NRO have come into public light. I
believe there is a large body of evidence available to the public, that
points to the fact that there is yet at least one more massive agency
hidden from public view.

This super-secret organization is the mother of all security agencies.
This agency is the reason that the government resists declassification
of all information--even that information classified before the Second
World War. This agency is believed to keep and secure its own records
independent of all other agencies, and it deletes information about
itself or its operations from the records of other agencies. (See MJ-6
position in Majestic.) It can do this because it holds the highest
security clearances and need to know. It is beholden to no one, public
or private, except perhaps the National Security Council, which oversees
all security matters in the United States. It could be considered an
independent adjunct to the NSC.

This organization in the past has been known by several different
anagrams including MAJESTIC, MAJIC, MAGIC, MJ-12, and MAJORITY. It
changes its name and codes but for the purposes of this and further
articles I will call this super-secret chameleon organization MAJIC.
Whitley Strieber says he attracted major security interest and
harassment when he published his novel Majestic. The reason for this
interest is that he had a relative closely associated with this
organization, and most of the book is based on the secret information
that came from this source. This peaked my interest and I read the book
again in a new light. Pages 226-230 of Majestic seem to accurately
portray the structure and function of the MAJIC organization, listing
the duties and objectives of each member of this 12 member organization.
Suddenly, all the pieces accumulation in my mind for the past number of
years fell into place. A similar change in my thinking took place when I
co-founded ORTK.

A group needs to form with an orientation towards political
investigation. This could be an independent group or an adjunct to ORTK.
The objective of this group will be to expose and disarm MAJIC. We will
essentially act to attack and disarm a massive secret government
organization.

The way to attack and disarm this agency is to attack and work back from
where it interfaces with the public. This can be done through the
agency's two main functions that interface with the public. The first
function is to gather information and material, which it then exploits
towards its own ends. It has an information gathering and retrieval
network that extends into the public domain. If we trace the
infiltration within the UFO community, I am convinced that we will reach
MAJIC. The second function is to keep its existence secret, so it must
have a security and a propaganda network to keep itself and its
operations hidden. It must also discredit the evidence of
extraterrestrial life on this planet, else the public become informed of
this  and its own existence. If we follow the propaganda and
disinformation in the UFO community and in the press back to its source
it should lead to MAJIC. MAJIC is like an octopus hiding amongst the
other security organs of government. We find its tentacles in the UFO
community, debunking groups, the tabloids and amongst the mainstream
press, so the trick is to follow these arms back and attack the head to
which these arms are attached.

MAJIC (Majority Agency for Joint Intelligence) was created in the
reorganization and shakeup of the National Security Apparatus that
followed the crash of an alien craft near New Mexico in July of 1947.
The National Security Act of 1947 created a shadow government hidden in
the security apparatus of the United States. At the heart of this
massive secret bureaucracy was MAJIC. MAJIC security clearances were the
highest possible clearances, and need to know was also established to
further compartmentalize information. This mother of all agencies is
funded by the black budget, using other agencies as fronts with private,
perhaps illegal agencies, also used as a source of capital. It's
possible that the CIA is being used by MAJIC to infiltrate and skim off
illegal drug profits for MAJIC operations. The rational would be that
the alien situation is so important that it is necessary to obtain funds
in this manner.

MAJIC would have a legion of individuals trained in the conjuring arts
and in human psychology. The knowledge of the conjurer and that of the
psychologist are combined to keep MAJIC, its mission, and the alien
situation hidden from the public. Propaganda techniques are used to keep
the public ignorant. Through its superior authority it can draw whatever
resources and manpower it needs from any other agency.

As stated before, I suggest a duel approach for other investigators to
follow in attacking MAJIC. The first approach is to study propaganda
operations and disinformation sources within the UFO community and the
press. The Air Force's OSI, SETI, CSICOP and the tabloids all are
involved in propaganda operations. At the present time the Air Force's
Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) is again involved in another
major propaganda and disinformation operation. This operation is rather
similar to the past operation described by Bill Moore and participated
in by him. This new AFOSI operation is an attempt to discredit the
Roswell case because the case is gaining so much publicity in the press.
This AFOSI operation presents a great opportunity to investigate and
trace back this operation to MAJIC.

The major players in this AFOSI counter intelligence operation so far
identified are Col. Weaver (AFOSI), Karl Pflock, Sheridan Cavitt, and
Phil Klass. Col. Weaver is the author of the latest Air Force cover
story report. Karl Pflock is a past DOD and CIA employee who is, I
believe, doing the phony research to back up the new Air Force Mogul
cover story. If the authors of Mute Evidence are to be believed, Karl
was caught red handed in a disinformation operation back in the 1970's
(pages 346-369). References to Karl's activities go all the way back to
NICAP days and are documented in Above Top Secret and The UFO Cover-up.
Mr. Cavitt was the counter intelligence officer at Roswell. A reference
in the appendix to the Air Force's cover-story report involves a letter
referring to Karl Pflock "as our debunker" or some such statement. Phil
Klass is the most notorious UFO debunker in a propaganda operation and
organization called CSICOP, which I believe has links to MAJIC directly.
CSICOP neatly fits the description of a CIA proprietary organization. In
my mind, Phil is one of the most clever and intelligent men in the UFO
field. He has many high-level contacts and press connections. He has
been arguing with Karl, believing it best to flat out discredit Roswell
while Karl apparently plans to try to discredit Roswell piece by piece.
I believe all four of these individuals are working together on this
counter intelligence operation.

This AFOSI operation is just preparing the ground for the SETI debunkers
to spring into action. The SETI debunkers Carl Sagan and Frank Drake I
believe are members of MAJIC. I believe Carl Sagan replaced the late
Donald Menzel on the MAJIC board and is continuing the propaganda
operations that were initiated my Menzel. He would fill the MJ-3
position referred to in Majestic. The McDaniel Report (pages 147-158)
clearly shows that Carl Sagan used several propaganda devices in his
Parade Magazine "Man on the Moon" article. I expect Carl Sagan to soon
write another propaganda article for Parade Magazine on Roswell
utilizing the same propaganda devices used in his previous articles and
shows on UFOs.

The connections between the SETI scientists Carl Sagan and Frank Drake
are close to CSICOP. Carl Sagan is one of their fellows. Sagan is also
connected to the Air Force. Back in the 1960's he was the Air Force's
advisor on extraterrestrial life! Kevin Randle told me that some media
people were told by the SETI folks that the SETI folks would not
cooperate unless Phil Klass was used to debunk the UFO part of the
program. So we can see that AFOSI, CSICOP , and SETI are well connected,
and they collaborate in their propaganda operations.

These organizations have very strong media connections especially with
high-level science writers in the major media. For instance, notorious
UFO debunker James Oberg (see "The UFO of STS-48," article in Final
Frontier) is a fellow of CSICOP and closely connected to NASA, and SETI.
John Pike of the FAS is following in the footsteps of Mr. Oberg (see FAS
article "A Modern Myth of Things Seen in the Sky"). These organizations
and debunkers also seem to be closely connected to the AP Washington
Bureau that uniformly debunks UFOs and inserts their propaganda into the
mainstream press all over the country. This is the outlet that the Air
Force chooses to put out its new Mogul cover story. This is the same
media outlet that put out the Weekly World New disinformation piece
called "12 Senators Claim to be Space Aliens" with the cooperation of
Senate Arm Services chairman Sam Nunn and Intelligence Committee
chairman Senator DeConcini.

The second way to approach MAJIC is through their information and
material gathering arm. Much information has already come out on Project
Blue Fly and Project Moon Dust which ties into the intelligence
gathering arm of MAJIC.

The individual that may have replaced Dr. Hynek is Thomas Deuley, an
individual with a NSA background who is perhaps the most influential
individual in the UFO establishment groups. Now he is handling the funds
channeled into the UFO community from the Bigelows. Mr. Deuley is on
MUFON's executive committee and board, and he is a founding board member
of FUFOR. Everybody knows that money controls focus and those that
control the money have control of the direction of any enterprise.
Thomas Deuley should be rigorously investigated as well as the Bigelows
which are rumored to have CIA ties. I seriously doubt that any moneys
will be channeled in any significant amounts into political action
through Mr. Deuley.

Investigations into infiltration into the UFO community may well lead to
Dr. Frank Drake (fills the MJ-12B position in Majestic) who I believe is
the MAJIC member responsible for scientific investigations into alien
life. Edward Teller (fills the MJ-12A position in Majestic) is the MAJIC
member responsible for the exploitation of alien materials recovered
through Blue Fly and Moon Dust. Investigations of crash retrieval
operations will lead to both Dr. Drake on research (see Forest
Crawford's article on the Tai Seti ET capture involving Frank Drake) and
to Dr. Edward Teller on reverse engineering (see Bob Lazar, etc.,).

I hope that through the computer networks and through other means,
people who have small pieces of information on the organizations and
individuals above, can pool that information and together we can expose
and disarm MAJIC. Constitutional and democratic control needs to be
reestablished over our lives in this area, as in many other areas. I
hope that this article can provide a rough outline to stimulate in-depth
investigations by major investigators in major press organizations. We
in the UFO community only have the resources to provide direction and
guidance.
